Matcha is green tea in its purest form. The ground tea leaves are rich in antioxidants and have a positive effect on the immune system and counteract the ageing process. Berlin based Health Bar uses premium tea from Japan - hand-picked, gently steamed, and ground on granite. Simply pour hot water over the tea powder and stir, and the tea unfolds its full flavour.
Matcha – which is even richer in valuable ingredients than conventional green tea, as here the leaves are not just infused but ground up and drunk along with it – has an intense flavour and unfolds its effect gently. The energy level can be maintained for up to 6 hours.
